Taiwanese CSC cuts leeway prices for September

China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest steelmaker in Taiwan announced to cut the leeway prices for September due to weak demand.

It's learned that CSC reduced the prices of hot rolled and cold rolled leeway by NT$700/ton and NT$300/ton respectively for September.

After the adjustment, the firm's October list prices of hot rolled leeway are at NT$15,450~NT$16,450/ton and that of cold rolled leeway is at NT$18,200/ton.

Dealers indicated that the prices of prime materials might be affected by CSC's price cut in leeway.
